About the Hoofer Outing Club Calendar
The calendar is intended as a way for announcing trips and other events of interest to Outing Club members. There is no centralized administration of the calendar; all events are entered by trip leaders and others. Some trips might not show up on the calendar, as leaders might only announce them at weekly meetings or on the Outing-announce email list. All trip leaders are encouraged to post their trips on the calendar, email them to the list, and announce them at meetings to make sure that people are aware of trips and to encourage others to lead.
After you login to the website, you'll see extra links on the calendar and the front page of the website so you can add events. Most fields in the calendar are optional, but you should at least include the title, times, and how to contact you, along with whatever details might be pertinent (last day to signup, cost, trip limit, ratings/lessons needed, etc.).
