Road Biking

Outing Club road bike trips of all types go out in season, from 15 mile trips around Lake Monona to the 100-mile Door County Century. For those of you that don't have your own bicycle, the club as some you can use. Trips regularly head out during the week around the Madison area, ranging from 15 to 40 miles in length. Longer trips, for those who are interested, typically go out on weekends. We also try to hold a few overnight bicycling/camping trips each year.

Equipment

Although it's easier if you have your own equipment, the club does have some bicycles and equipment for club members on club trips. We have road bikes, a tandem bicycle and helmets for use on club trips. Repair tools are available to club members for repair of club or personal bikes.
