General Info:
The Red River is approximately 1 mile SE of Gresham, WI. It is a 4-mile stretch and the river has dam releases that bring the water level up dramatically. Without a release, the river can be very shallow and most of the play spots disappear. There are 4 named drops on the Red: First Drop (Class I-II), Double Drop (Class I), Monastery Falls (Class III), and Ziemer’s (Class II+). For more information check the American Whitewater link.Directions:
